Community Core Vision (CCV) is an open source and cross-platform computer vision and machine sensing solution. It takes video input and produces tracking data (coordinates and blob size) and events (e.g. finger down, moved, and released) for multi-touch applications. CCV connects to various web cameras and video devices, TUIO/OSC/XML enabled applications, and supports multiple multi-touch lighting techniques.
